You are looking at DOBA all wrong.

Here are the top mistakes people have when they sign up for DOBA:

  • Assume they will be a billionaire in a week...

  • Browse doba's catalog for that one magical item that will land them a huge magnificent profit...

  • Markup products super high in their store, amazon, or ebay...

Think of selling online as a numbers game, not a "get rich quick" game. Look, DOBA or any drop shipping portal will not make you rich. You have to work for it because nothing is free. This philosophy is not the cost of doing business but a fact of life.

Why look for a huge big ticket item with an enormous profit margin when you can sell thousands of other Doba products and make $100 bucks a day or even $1000 bucks? $100 is not bad for a few clicks on a few products.

When you find a few products to list on ebay, sell them and you'll see you made 5-10 dollar profit. I sell
USB/PS2 trackball mice on ebay. I make 5 bucks a sale. I know what you are thinking "Whoop Dee Do, 5 bucks." When you look at the big picture you will see that a mouse here and lock there can add up and if I list these items to end the same day then I can double or triple my profit. And if I sell 10 a week then hey that's $50 bucks per week. If you add a few more product to you line the next thing you know you've achieved your goal of over $100 bucks a day selling doba product.

I make big profits with DOBA one simple way. I'll show you what I mean.

Let's say I sell 30 different DOBA items on ebay. Every day of the week &
these 30 auctions end at 7:30 PM Pacific Daylight Time.
So 30 Doba products x 7
days a week = 210 auctions. 210 auctions x $7 profits? When it's all said and
done I profit 7 bucks an item then that is $1470!!!!
HOLY CRAP that's more than I make in the Air Force...

Hopefully this painted a picture for you. It's really staying away from the high profit margin items and searching for many many profitable items at a time. If you have experience selling on ebay then this should be a piece of cake for you!

Another tip... Keep your listing price realistic. I would sell
this for $15,000... I would target a $100-$200 profit keeping it realistic for sales on ebay. Think about what items you would start to list on ebay. Doba has a great line of things to get you started selling right away. I highly recommend the following:
  1. Cutlery
  2. Stainless Steel Flasks
  3. NFL Merchandise (Remember Football season is right around the corner!)
  4. Telescopes
  5. Belt Buckles (Always a good profit)
  6. Headphones (Everybody is looking for headphones. I sell 25 headphones a week!)
  7. Cold Steel Blades
  8. Hammocks
  9. Bean Bags

Okay I can't give all my secrets away. Remember Sell a few products at a time and watch your profits grow. Don't get in a hurry to become a billionaire and be realistic when pricing your product. You will make money only if you want to.

Why haven't you signed up? Your missing out on some good profits...

Tricks for searching through Doba's wholesale products

Checking out Doba's wholesale products is a lot of fun. I like to check out the pioneer in-dash systems. The profits for these on the internet are pretty good. However, I don't really look for supper popular items to sell on ebay. Electronics can be really good to sell but coming across a hot electronic to sell can be like pharana's fighting over a meal when starved. That's a fact of life. First come first serve. Besides, popular electronics become saturated on the world wide web and profit margins diminish. The whole key to selling on ebay is to find a niche product. What's a niche product? (Learn about Niches here) How about instead of looking for the giant Samsung Super TRICKED out Plasma, LCD Wide-screen bla bla bla product. Focus on the needs of consumers instead of their desires. That's when It dawned on me....

One day while browsing their online catalog I found my self looking into Doba's greddy car parts and kits. I noticed that a lot of the content describing these products flipped a switch in my head! You know the part where a light bulb appears over your head when you have a brilliant idea. I saw the word aluminum! I typed it in and found a whole bunch of stuff that I wasn't even thinking of!!! Next thing I typed in brass and found a keyless touchpad door bolt lock. What's so special about that? Well, I know that the rest of sellers weren't looking for a dead bolt lock so I listed it on ebay and spilled it for a &16.00 profit. They were all mine. I sold every one that doba had. So instead of trying to type words like "MP3 Player" or IPOD" try typing in words that things are made of.

  • GLASS

  • MERCURY

  • PLASTIC

  • COTTON

  • RUBBER

  • BRONZE

  • FELT

  • MESH

  • WIRE

  • On & On...

You will soon learn that you are finding niche products. I found a Honeywell Air Purifier by typing Allergy... I'm glad I did I've sold nearly twenty from march to the day I'm typing this out. I can sit here and tell you all day long untill I'm blue in the face about tips/trick/secrets about Doba but guess what you'll never know untill you try it and see for yourself. What are you going to do?

Protect your Auctions! Doba Can help you with Tracking

I don’t want this to happen to you when you start selling on ebay. One day I was scouting some stuff to sell on ebay at this Antique Shop in Biloxi, Mississippi. As I walked up to the front door of the shop a man stopped me and asked if this was my store. I told him I was just a customer. He mentioned he possessed a large collection of Lionel Trains that he inherited from his Grandfather. He needed cash and was trying to pawn them. I told him I was interested. (Read the rest of this amazing story in my book)

After acquiring these vintage Lionel Trains I was rolling on ebay. Big cash nearly $7K in January. But remember this is when I was new and naive to ebay, paypal and USPS shipping. I was a brand new ebay baby still in diapers. One man purchased a Lionel NYC Engine from me on ebay for $500. I was stoked, considering I bought the train collection for $600 I was nearly even on my train investment.

This was one of my first sales, this Lionel 2344 New York Central Diesel Engine. The transaction was smooth my customer purchased it, paid with PayPal, I shipped it to him and I was $500 richer. I was so excited. Almost a month later Paypal took money out of my account. I was in the whole freaking out. What happened? This man filed a chargeback with his credit card company which was American Express. I was furious. I tried to find a way to get my money considering this guy had my train and now he had my money! Paypal let him keep his money and I never got my train back. It was a HUGE error on my part. I did not put a delivery confirmation on my package shipped to this man. He pretty much got a free $500 potentially $900 dollar item on ebay for FREE! Delivery confirmations are .50 at the Post office and a few cents more if you ship priority. First thing I did was filed an online Mail Fraud Form it got the ball rolling. If you need the form you can click here.

In the end I got my money back. All this trouble for a .50 cent delivery confirmation… Golden rule: Always put a delivery confirmation on your packages when shipping from home. DOBA PROVIDES UPDATED TRACKING FOR ALL YOUR PACKAGES SO THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN TO YOU!

This is email correspondence from my customer who eventually sent me a check for $500 After Hurricane Katrina destroyed my home. After speaking with him on the phone he told my he would write this check of as a donation on his taxes. What a punk he was…

Let me know when you mailed it.... After I receive funds and it clears at the bank I will withdraw the case with Police. Until then I have no choice but to fallow through with that agency. I’m sorry.

I plan on mailing it out this weekend

I thought about that last night, What is the time line going to be for the check to be sent my way so I can keep and eye out for it?

Nathan:

Just for the record AMEX did re-charge my account after issuing a temporary credit. I can’t imagine that you don’t have enough on your mind at the moment, haven’t suffered enough that you really have the time (or energy) to deal with generally uncaring large companies.

I have generously contributed to a number of Katrina relief funds which were matched by the company I work for (large but caring). Don’t get me wrong – this isn’t charity as you sold me and I now possess the goods – but if I am not able to clear this up with AMEX (forget about PayPal) in my mind I’ll think of it as another donation (the IRS of course will feel differently).

Yours truly,
Strauss

That’s right you’re from the Gulf Region. How did you survive Katrina? I hope you were able to evacuate.
Did you loose everything?

So you're saying you're still out this money?
That is not right.

---------------------------------------

I checked with American Express. They did indeed re-bill me the $514.00. At that time payment was made to PayPal

Nathan..

Your e-mail the other day indicated that I should receive the package on Monday. When it didn't arrive I sent you an e-mail, unanswered, simply requesting shipping info.
So when it didn't arrive yesterday I think you can understand my concern. I did not want to enter a negative feedback on ebay knowing once it's posted it stays no matter what.

Seeing that you've made far more purchases than sales on ebay I imagine you can understand my concern about this relatively expensive item. Not only about arrival, but whether the conditions described are accurate.

Regards,

Strauss

Sir,
What does it take to resolve this? I understand that you want your money back. I can do that However, I would need the trains back. I have contacted PAYPAL. I have our case number and the same information that I provided you is going to the resolution center as my proof that I sent the item. So once you receive this item please send it back to me for your refund. If there is anything else I can do please fallow up. I appreciate your business.

Don't stop with Ebay! Sell Doba products on Amazon.com

Since I have a good feel for ebay auctions I decided to expand online. I just started selling on amazon.com. My very first sale was a pair of Skullcandy proletariat noise cancelling headphones. Doba offered them up for about $40 bucks. Steep price? Not really I sold them on amazon.com for $79 bones! That was the first day! Since then I have placed items that doba provides on amazon.com. If doba has a product that you would like to sell on amazon, all you have to do is see if amazon is selling it. Here are my amazon listings. If amazon has the item then you can just click the "sell yours now" button on the right pane of amazons site, state your selling price and quantity available. It's cake! Amazon selling is a done deal. When the transaction is complete Amazon will notify you through email or you can check your sales account. BAM! you made a sale, & you have the address of your customer. Poof! Doba processes your order to your customer, provides tracking, next thing you know.... your customer scores a deal, you make a profit, Doba wins, you win, your customer wins, and you start all over. Selling on the internet from home is EASY! Be thankful doba does all the legwork for you... When I sell stuff on ebay I make sure its a fast moving product. I suggest amazon for slower moving items.

Using Doba and Ebay to Generate Income

If you are an ebayer surely you have heard of Doba. Doba has become a HUGE leader for the online market place. For me I used doba and their easy drop shipping process to rack in over $33k in about 3 months. I did it all part time maybe 15 hours a week. I was tired of hopping from outlet stores and chasing thrift shops for vintage goods and collectibles. I stumbled on doba and POOF... More Sales, More Traffic and essentially more PROFIT.

  • The best part of Doba is their customer service. They are prompt and take care of your needs.

  • Doba displays items up to 200 a page, making it easy to target your product

  • Even better I made over a grand last week.

  • Doba loves me...
